Remington X6000 | My Short Review

Remington X6000 Power-X Series (X6)
I rate the Remington X6000 Power-X at 4 stars out of 5.
What I like:
- The versatility. Although the blade is a typical hair clipper blade (approx. 40 mm wide) and works best in cutting hair, I was able to trim and shape my beard pretty well too.
- Super wide range of length settings. The 4 different combs in Remington X6000 let you set the cutting lengths from 1 mm up to 35 mm, which is rather rare among hair clippers
- Both corded and cordless use. This way you don’t have to stress out about the battery running out of power mid-cut.
Not bad
- The blade. The blade in the Remington X6000 is rather simple, nothing fancy. Regular lubricating with clipper oil is required to maintain the blade in good shape for a long period of time.
- The length setting system. Here we have a wheel dial but in my opinion it is a bit too much “hidden” in the body of the clipper. Meaning it is not easily accessible. Well, it is not something that would completely disqualify this model, but you have to get used to this solution.
Possible weak points:
- The adjustable stubble comb. My impression about this attachment is like “flimsy”, it is not feeling quality. You actually don’t feel and hear the “clicks” between each length setting. Personally I don’t like it because I am not sure if my preferred length is properly set.
