## Small things make a short beard look unintended.

Stray hairs, a mustache creeping onto the lip, an edge that drifted. At 10–20 mm there’s nowhere to hide, so the details carry the look.

**10 mm** **15 mm** **20 mm**

The guide is written for a beard in this 10–20 mm range, reset to about 15 mm.

## What the guide covers

### Morning tidy

3–5 minutes. Flyaways handled, nothing reshaped.

### Edge cleanup

Wednesday and Saturday: cheeks and neck, keeping the line you already wear.

### Lip line

A 10 mm mustache trim and lip-line cleanup in the weekly reset.

### A good fit if you…

- wear a short beard around 10–20 mm
- prefer clear settings and a weekly plan to improvising
- want photos of the actual technique
- own a trimmer with 15 mm and 10 mm settings

### Probably not for you if you…

- want a long-beard growth guide or a clean-shave routine
- want detailed cheek-line geometry or a barbering course
- want growth treatments, medical advice or guaranteed results
- want a trimmer comparison or shopping catalogue

## Who wrote it

I test men’s grooming hardware and write from the tools on my own sink. Keep It Tight is the week I actually run, not a roundup of other people’s advice.

## Straight answers

What exactly do I get?

A 20-page PDF: the morning routine, a printable weekly mirror plan, original technique photographs, the Saturday reset, optional sideburn work, tool-care notes and file information. It is not a printed book or a video course.

Is it only for a 15 mm beard?

It comes from my own 10–20 mm beard, which I usually reset to about 15 mm. The worked settings are 15 mm for the beard and 10 mm for the mustache. It is not a separate worked routine for every length.

Do I need a particular trimmer?

No. Use a suitable trimmer with genuine 15 mm and 10 mm settings.

Does the whole routine take five minutes?

No. The 3–5 minutes applies to the workday morning loop. Cheek-and-neck cleanup and the Saturday reset are separate jobs.

What about refunds or a bad file?

Check the refund policy on the Gumroad product page before you buy. A corrupt download or missing pages gets a replacement file or a refund. Questions: stanley@groomtest.com.
