Hatteker SK-113 Review

Hatteker SK-113
After several uses I rate the Hatteker SK-113 at 4.3 out of 5 stars.
Here’s why.
What I like:
- The blade. The blade in Hatteker SK-113 is made of stainless steel and it is zero-gapped. This means it cuts very close to the skin, but not as close as a for example safety razor. The blade requires regular lubrication with blade oil.
- Ergonomy. The trimmer is compact, it fits nicely in my hand and works rather quietly (compared to many competing trimmers).
- Magnetic comb guards. There are four of them: 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 4.5 mm and 6 mm. Each guard has a magnet on the inner side. Thanks to this, you don't have to worry about complicated ways of putting the guards on the blade. All you have to do is place them evenly at the front of the blade, and the magnet will hold the comb properly. I can say it is working well.
Not bad:
- Powering. The trimmer needs about 2 hours to fully charge a depleted battery, after which it can run for 2 hours straight. There’s only a simple and quite short USB charging cable.
- Waterproof. You can rinse the whole unit under the tap if you like, because the Hatteker SK-113 has a water resistant casing.
Possible weak points:
- For stubble and short beard. In my opinion this model is best for maintaining a short beard (up to 6 mm long) or a stubble. The teeth on the blade are really narrow, meaning small compared to the teeth on the blades of most of the “standard” beard trimmers. Such blades work best alone or on a (very) short beard.

What are the users saying about the Hatteker SK-113?
While detailed user reviews specifically for the Hatteker SK-113 model are limited, the general sentiment surrounding the Hatteker brand is largely positive, suggesting a favorable user experience.
The SK-113 is often listed as a professional cordless hair clipper and beard trimmer, and its features, combined with feedback on similar Hatteker models, provide insight into its likely strengths and potential weaknesses.
Likely Strengths of the Hatteker SK-113:
Based on product descriptions and overwhelmingly positive ratings for other Hatteker trimmers on major retail platforms, the SK-113 is perceived to have the following strengths:
- Sharp and Skin-Friendly Blades: The trimmer is advertised with R-shaped obtuse angle titanium and ceramic blades, which are designed to be skin-friendly and prevent pulling or scratching.
- Cordless Convenience and Good Battery Life: As a cordless model with Type-C USB fast charging, users can expect flexibility and a decent runtime on a single charge. Similar models boast significant usage time, a feature often praised by users.
- Value for Money: Hatteker as a brand is frequently lauded for offering a feature-rich package at a competitive price point, a sentiment likely to extend to the SK-113.
- Solid Build and Ergonomics: Reviews of other Hatteker models often praise their solid construction and comfortable, ergonomic design.
- Quiet Operation: Compared to older, corded models, Hatteker trimmers are generally noted for their quieter performance.
Potential Weaknesses of the Hatteker SK-113:
Drawing from feedback on other trimmers from the brand, some potential downsides to the SK-113 might include:
- Durability of Accessories: Some users of other Hatteker models have reported that the plastic guide combs can feel flimsy and may be prone to breaking if not handled with care.
- Hair Trapping: A recurring minor complaint with some Hatteker designs is that hair clippings can accumulate in hard-to-clean areas of the trimmer's body.
Overall User Sentiment:
Retailers carrying a range of Hatteker products show a strong positive trend.
For instance, similar Hatteker professional clippers on Walmart's website boast a 4.9 out of 5-star rating, with a vast majority of reviews being 4 or 5 stars.
Similarly, on Kaufland.cz, a generic listing for a professional Hatteker trimmer shows 84% of respondents giving a 5-star rating.
This widespread positive reception for the brand suggests a high level of customer satisfaction with the performance, features, and value of Hatteker trimmers in general.
In conclusion, while there is not much direct, detailed user feedback for the Hatteker SK-113 trimmer, the available information and the strong reputation of the Hatteker brand indicate that it is likely a capable and well-regarded grooming tool.
Its strengths appear to lie in its versatile features, user-friendly design, and affordability.
However, potential buyers should be mindful of the potential for less durable accessories, a common trait in this product segment.
