Babyliss MT726E Review

Babyliss MT726E
After using the Babyliss MT726E multipurpose trimmer, I rate it 4,2 out of 5 stars.
What I like:
- Foil shaver. On my medium coarse beard the foil shaver performs very well. I was able to quite efficiently shave my whole neck and cheeks. I like it far more over foil shavers you find in for example Braun or Philips multigroomers (in both cases foils are much narrower = less efficient).
- The blade. Babyliss MT726E trimmer comes with titanium blades. Titanium is about 3 times harder compared to the standard stainless steel. The admixture of titanium in the steel from which the blades are made will positively affect the durability and maintenance of sharpness of the blades.
- Corded and cordless use. I really love this feature. No stress even if the battery is losing power. Simply plug the trimmer into the outlet and finish the trimming.
Not bad:
- In general the comb attachments are decent. Made entirely out of plastic, most of them are not bad (maybe except for the body comb - details below). I have no problems with the three combs for the beard (5-6-7 mm). The adjustable comb for stubble to be honest is very simple and feels flimsy to me (but of course this is only my personal opinion).
- The nose and ears attachment is pretty good. Standard design we know from many other “multipurpose trimmers”.
Possible weak points:
- Body comb attachment. There’s only 1 comb attachment for trimming body hair (3 mm). In the trimmer I bought after snapping the comb on the blade it was holding loosely. Well, I have still been able to trim my body hair, but it is not what you expect from these attachments. They should hold on the blade tight, right?
