What I like:

• The blade. The BaByliss E986E hair clipper is equipped with quality carbon-titanium blades. Without going into unnecessary detail, these blades should retain their sharpness longer than blades made of a standard stainless steel.
• Corded and cordless use. I always praise this feature regardless of the clippers or trimmer I review. This gives you freedom of movement and peace of mind if the battery starts losing the power during cutting.
• The blade is wide. The blade in BaByliss E986E is 45 mm (1,77 inch) wide. Wider blades equals more efficient (faster) cutting.

Not bad:

• The overall quality. The blades feel really impressive, quality made. If you don’t forget to lubricate them regularly they will stay in good shape for many years to come. 
• Lithium battery. Today lithium batteries are the standard in men's grooming tools. BaByliss E986E is equipped with this type of battery and provides up to 160 minutes of cordless operation time. The full charge takes 3 hours. You can also charge the depleted unit for 30 minutes and it will be able to handle about 15 minutes of work.

Possible weak points:

• Not fully washable. Not a problem for me, I don’t treat hair clippers with water (even if they are fully waterproof). If you are used to using hair clippers that allow rinsing under tap the whole unit, the BaByliss E986E will disappoint you in this matter.
